چکیده
In this paper, the maximum achievable throughput is analyzed in intra-wagon channel when multiple-input single-output (MISO) and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), MISO-OFDM, techniques are used. This analysis performed from real wideband propagation measurements at 28 37 GHz, two potential bands to deploy future fifth-generation (5G) wireless communications networks. Four different scenarios terms of access point (AP) user equipment (UE) positions inside wagon have been considered, using 4 8 antennas AP. The performance both quasi-orthogonal space-time block code (QSTBC), combined with Hadamard matrices, transmit beamforming studied evaluated simulation results. results take into account signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) antenna correlation for each array configuration These provide useful insight better understand properties 5G networks particular scenario mmWave frequencies, where high-data-rates expected support types digital applications.

Next-generation wireless networks are widely expected to operate over millimeter-wave (mmW) frequencies of over 28GHz. These bands mitigate the acute spectrum shortage in the conventional microwave bands of less than 6GHz. The shorter wavelengths in these bands also allow for building dense antenna arrays on a single chip, thereby enabling various MIMO configurations and highly directional link...
متن کاملAn ATM-Based Indoor Millimeter-Wave Wireless LAN for Multimedia Transmissions∗
Developments in new frequency bands for wireless communications make a broadband channel for new services possible. Great effort has been made researching and developing broadband wireless communication in the 60-GHz millimeterwave band since the early 1990s. In this paper, we design an ATM (asynchronous transfer mode)-based indoor millimeterwave wireless local area network (WLAN) that supports...
متن کاملPerformance analysis of MISO-OFDM & MIMO-OFDM Systems
MIMO-OFDM system is a new wireless broadband technology which has gained great popularity for its capability of high rate transmission and its robustness against multi-path fading and other channel impairments. Precise and competent channel estimation for MIMO-OFDM systems is necessary to improve error performance of the system. In this paper, Least Squares (LS) channel estimation is implemente...
متن کاملPerformance of Multicast MISO-OFDM Systems
In this paper, we evaluate the performance of multicast OFDM systems with single and multiple transmit antennas. We have shown that it is possible to increase the data rate of multicast OFDM systems by selecting the users with good channel for each subcarrier. For the single transmit antenna case, the resource allocation has been applied using the two-step algorithm where subcarrier allocation ...
متن کاملAn OFDM interpretation of zero padded block transmissions
Orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) systems are particularly straightforward to understand in the frequency domain. The purpose of this paper is to draw attention to the fact that zero padded block transmissions also have a straightforward frequency domain interpretation. The advantages of this interpretation are illustrated by three additional results which further the understanding...
